Joseph Bisat MarshallThe Ineffable Narrative2014

The Ineffable Narrative is the title of my undergraduate dissertation which explored the ways in which design is connected to a fundamental understanding of life, through the lens of analytical philosophy. I situated design as within theories of narrative, developed with reference to the work of philosophers Gilles Deleuze and Friedrich Nietzsche. The project was bound as a short, 46 page book, which I typed on an Olivetti Lettera 22. I allowed myself no mistakes and as a result, I also produced a much thicker book of the many errors achieved over the course of typing 8000 words.
